I work with people struggling with anxiety and stress: the overthinking, negative self talk, the feelings of fear and dread. They have tried various therapies and coping strategies such as breathing techniques to push the wave of feelings away, or keeping busy to not give the feelings a chance to emerge, others repeat mantras. But they still find the body is holding the stress, and that the thoughts and feelings can arise without warning. They are not getting the significant relief that they are searching for.
There is a way to experience deeper level change where you can feel more confident and calm. I know, because I have seen these transformations day after day!
One client was feeling "empty on the inside”. After just a couple of sessions, she reported "catching herself smiling" and feeling “happy for no reason”, and had reduced the negative thoughts and feelings to a "normal" level. Today, she’s thriving in her career, deeply connected with her family, and enjoying a sense of confidence she never thought possible.

How it works
Anxiety lives in both the thinking brain (cerebral cortex) and the feeling brain (limbic system).
It is important to address both. Doing so will help reduce the “fight-or-flight” response", break the automatic negative cycle, reconnect to feelings of calm and access more helpful states, like confidence instead of doubt.

What to Expect
Each session has two parts:
- The talking part
We’ll talk about where you are now and where you’d like to be. We don’t go into the past, no discussion of trauma or delving into why's or how's. You'll also receive a tool or technique (drawing from from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)) to help reduce the intensity of unhelpful emotions and release stress.
- The relaxing part
You’ll settle into a state of focused relaxation, similar to daydreaming or becoming absorbed in a book. I’ll guide you with carefully crafted imagery in a story-based approach that speak directly to your feeling brain, based on what we discussed together in part 1. It's a mind awake / body asleep process which people describe as deeply calming and restorative like a meditation, yet where they remain completely in control.
